Avondale Health Services was established and incorporated in 1990. Our goal is to address the problems associated with the great need for quality senior living facilities in Georgia, particularly the metro Atlanta community.

We encourage our caregivers to utilize their skills and be actively involved in their chosen career. We also pride ourselves on our dedication and continuing efforts to provide the best quality personal care to our residents.

Care Team

Avondale Senior Living has organized a management team comprised of competent health-care, administrative, and business professionals to ensure that its goals and objectives are fulfilled. Our major goal is to provide the highest quality health care while maintaining cost containment.

Meet our Administrative Director

Rachel Waldemar has been the administrative director of Avondale Health Services since its inception in 1990. She received her education and training as a registered nurse in the United Kingdom and has been a licensed practitioner for more than 40 years. Her experience includes many years in various disciplines and capacities that required her to use both her administrative and clinical skills. These skills, along with her love for elderly care, have proven to be invaluable assets to clients and families for over 30 years.

Under Rachel’s leadership, the organization has provided Personal Care services to hundreds of residents in our facilities.

Because of her involvement in the greater Atlanta area, she has served in different capacities in several community-related senior organizations such as the Georgia Department of Community Health CCSP program, and the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) on Aging Committee. She is also a member of the Georgia Association of Community Care Providers (GACCP).

She surrounds herself and network with other qualified healthcare and business professionals in order to assure the quality service that her senior clients deserve.
